LIFE IN THE LINE
It was about 1 year ago when a man jumped of the George Washington
bridge. People still wondering and have question of why he kill himself and how his family will suffer.
Its all happened about 1 year ago it was October 13 2005 at 5:30 pm
it was a Friday Wild a man was walking on the George Washington Bridge.
he was about “5”11” he looks African or black. Will he was walking on
the George Washington bridge my family was outside we where playing
around and riding bike and playing domino. My father start talking about dead people why they kill themselves like committing a suicide and he was staring at the George Washington Bridge.
Like about 7:00 pm the man just was looking down staring at the
people and we was wondering what he was going to do but he just yell I
am jumping he said that real loud every body was trying to stop him we all were yelling don’t jump but few people was saying jump 5 minute later the police came and thy surround the bridge it was a big chaos .
but the police did not do nothing to stop it. The man just jumped I got so scared when I saw that and because that man just jumped nothing stop him nobody did nothing about it. I ran to my house I was So panic and I was shaking and I was sweating a lot because I just witness a man committed a suicide.
Later that night I when back Down the police were still there with the
African man the just finished jumping of the George Washington Bridge. He was covered with a white blanket and there was a lot of people around him and there was blood everywhere nobody was allow to see that man until his family was called.
They live in the same building as me we live next door we where their
neighbor we no each other for about 5 or 6 years we know that guy. That
mother came down and she started crying that police calm her down and
finally she stop crying. Since that day forward I been having nightmare
about what I saw I was just 13 year old I never seen some body committing a suicide.
Why he did it family said depression or business or he had a bad
relationship with his wife he had TWO daughter they were very small one was 5year old he other one was 12year old now they don’t have a father.
When the man jump police were everywhere even my family saw that event why he did it? He should no jump of the Bridge because he have a life a beautiful family that love him. Nobody will never know why he jumped now his family will suffer because their son has suicide.
His family its sad wondering why he did it. But we all are going to suffer because he had family and he had 2 little girl they still remember their father that will never change.
His family will suffer for ever specially his 2 daughter we know
each other for a very long time we live next door we are going to miss him.
